Although I was a formally-trained theater performer, I had not been a publicist.

At a time of economic uncertainty and digital evolution, I began writing and recording music in the corner of my mother's dining room.

Within one year of taking that leap of faith, I'd successfully landed major network television appearances, a music licensing deal with NBC Universal, and content development engagements with WEtv and Lifetime.

How? God's grace and good messaging.

Discovering how to communicate my values, vision, and uniqueness to my target audiences unlocked opportunities all around me.

At first I was dismissed and ignored when I began promoting our music and treatments to industry tastemakers. However, when I stripped away the jargon and doubled-down on sharing my authentic self, doors burst open.

Music production doors, TV appearance doors, radio interview doors, performance request doors, speaking engagement doors, content development doors, consulting doors. ALL the doors!

By developing a piercing personal brand message, I'd differentiated myself in a crowded market of copycats. 

Fans, executive producers, reporters, collaborators, and clients, swarmed us like honeybees to honeysuckle.

I'd cracked the code on communicating in a clear, compelling, and soulful way that spoke to the heads and hearts of my target audiences.

Because we humans love what we can feel, what we know is real, and what will help us heal, I mastered the art of messaging to become a supplier of all three of these.

In the months that followed I became sought-out by fellow recording artists, business owners, nonprofit leaders, executives, family, and friends who wanted to be seen and heard like me.

I didn't have to bet the farm on Facebook ads or hire an expensive agency to acquire these new opportunities.

I happily helped them take their messages to the masses using my method. Features on HGTV, Forbes, Cosmopolitan, Yahoo and many more, were secured!
